Twenty-two year old Virginia native Jay Pharoah is being courted as a possible new fourth addition to the long-running NBC comedy, Saturday Night Live. The Comic’s Comic reports that the stand-up comedian, who also does an okay impression of President Obama, flew to New York several times in August to screen test for a possible SNL role.

Dude’s got some raw talent…needs a little refining but definitely has potential. If he gets the job, he’ll join Keenan Thompson as the only two African-Americans on the show. Whaaat? Two peeps of color on SNL?? Wonder if they think this will make up for a lack of African-American Emmy nominations?? Not!
