JACKSON FAMILY PLANS MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE CONCERT!

The Jackson family has announced plans for a tribute concert for the late King of Pop to take place in October.

Members of Michael Jackson’s family announced Monday that a “star-studded” tribute concert is to be held in Britain in October, saying it would be a show “fit for a king.”

The show is set to be held on October 8th at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff, Wales, and will be broadcast to 30 countries around the world in 2D and 3D.

Chris Hunt, organizer of the concert, said it will raise money for a number of charities, i.e. the Jackson family’s pockets.

Names of the artists playing will be announced in London on August 3rd….in other words, they don’t have anyone signed up to perform except for Jermaine, La Toya and Rebbie.

Michael’s mom Katherine, who attended the Beverly Hills press conference announcing the concert along with La Toya, Tito, Marlon and Jackie, said it would be “a show fit for a king.”

“I have been approached by many people with a variety of ventures,” she said, adding that Global Live Events was the first “to present me with a vision that will produce an authentic and memorable tribute that my son would love.”

“This tribute will be something that is spectacular,” added La Toya Jackson.

Tickets for the concert in the 75,000-seat Cardiff stadium will go on sale online on August 4th. (rolls eyes)

I love the Jackson family, I really do, but they have proven to some of the most unorganized people in history.  I will be shocked if this concert happens and even more shocked if they get people to show up and perform.
