PILAR SANDERS RESPONDS TO DIVORCE PAPERS: I’M SURPRISED AND HURT!

I’m not naive, I know that an athletes marriage normally doesn’t last longer than the  first half of a football game, but I thought these two had a fighting chance.

Hello Beautiful recently reported that Deion Sanders filed for divorce from his wife Pilar Sanders this morning! And we have her side of the story below.

 Pilar gave HelloBeautiful the following statement: “It’s unfortunate that my husband decided to take this course of action…I’m surprised and hurt… As I said to my children, we must take a minute breath and Trust God.”

Pilar appeared in VH1′s “Single Ladies” as the wife of the cheating Mayor played by Common. She also become a perfumista with her own fragrance “Shelomi,” named after her youngest daughter, all while running multiple charities and dabbling in music.

In case you don’t know the backstory , a few weeks ago, rumors surfaced that Deion was cheating on Pilar with a 19-year old woman he met via Twitter. NFL player Adam “Pacman” Jones was his wing man.

Deion’s alleged reason for filing divorce:

“Enough is enough. I never signed up for all this. Enough is enough. If I wanted a model or a television star I would have married one a long time ago. All I wanted was a housewife.”

This is beyond shocking … I’m speechless!

Wait. Nope, false alarm, I have plenty to say. What in the hell is the world coming too when a woman like Pilar gets her walking papers? This woman cleaned that big ass house, ran errands, took care of the kids, two being from another marriage, with NO NANNY (yes, I watched Prime Time Love faithfully) and pushed out three babies of her own, count ‘em, one, two, three and her body still looks like it’s been sculpted by the gods of LA Fitness!

Deion you have mental issues that need to be studied … ASAP!
