HEAVY D’S DEATH PROVED INCONCLUSIVE

The cause of Heavy D’s death at the age of 44 is still a mystery, at least for the next few weeks — the initial autopsy report has proved inconclusive, which means we won’t know the rap legend’s official cause of death until a toxicology screening can be obtained.

For fans of the rapper who wish to pay their respects, a public viewing will be held on Thursday at the Grace Baptist Church in Heavy D’s hometown of Mout Vernon, NY. Diddy will reportedly speak in the rapper’s memory during a private ceremony on Friday, and the hip-hop star will be honored at the 2011 Soul Train Awards this month.
