Jada Pinkett-Smith Hires Kim Kardashian’s Divorce Attorney?

Must be an awkward Valentine’s Day in the Smith household.

Despite denying divorce rumors which first surfaces in August last year, In Touch Weekly (I know, rock with me), is reporting that Jada Pinkett Smith has retained high-powered celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser.

According to a source, the couple has “finally begun to take steps to dissolve their marriage,” and Jada reportedly turned down a film role to spend time with her kids during this “difficult time.”

Wasser is known for representing high profile clients. In the past she was retained by Vanessa Bryant, Kim Kardashian, and Maria Shriver.

Back in August after rumors swirled about Will and Jada’s possible split and the couple released a statement denying the rumors.

“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false,” they wrote.” We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”

Although I hope Will and Jada are able to weather this storm and are able to stick it out, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next statement the couple released was one about their split.
