Ester Dean and Nicki Minaj team up again. This time on Ester’s new single “Gimmie Money.”
An Auto-Tuned Ester declares her financial independence on the synth-heavy beat, while the Young Money diva comes through with a jet-setting verse. “I’m up in Hong Kong rocking Shojono Tomo/ Lobster sushi rolls, with a side of soy sauce/ Chopsticks, you know we don’t give a fork,” she raps.
Ester is considering releasing the song as a single from her Interscope Records debut. “If you guys Love Gimmie Money ft Nicki Minaj as my Single let’s get it Trending #GimmieMoney,” she tweeted.
Ester Dean also spreads her wings and soars on “Let It Grow (Celebrate the World).” The inspirational record, produced by Tricky Stewart. The song is featured on the soundtrack to Dr. Seuss’ animated film The Lorax, to which Ester also lends her voice. In addition to working on her Interscope debut (she already has 10 records picked), the singer-songwriter is writing for No Doubt, Keyshia Cole, Monica, Brandy, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, and more.
