After Geraldo Rivera blamed Treyvon Martin for his own death because he wore a hoodie….the Miami Heat decided to send their own message about the tragic incident…
It is so great to see so many high profile people come out and speak up for a once unknown 17-year old who just went to the store to get Skittles and some Tea. The case of Trayvon Martin has captured the attention of the nation, as the Miami Heat players came together and put their hoodies up for Trayvon.
Miami Heat forward LeBron James tweeted and Facebooked a picture of the entire Heat squad with their hoodies up for Trayvon.
Trayvon was a Miami native and according to his Facebook page, he listed LeBron and Dwyane Wade as his favorite athletes.
Across Twitter many have been asking why more athletes haven’t been talking about Trayvon’s case, but it’s good to see that the Heat are doing their part for justice in the name of Trayvon. #HoodiesUp.
