[via press release] The 14th Annual BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards Luncheon is a first class, awe-inspiring worship service to honor the legends of gospel music. The invitation-only event attracts gospel music’s premier songwriters, brightest stars and leading executives.

Edwin Hawkins, the indelible force behind the evolution of contemporary gospel, Lady Tramaine Hawkins, a Grammy Award-winning gospel artist, and Kurt Carr, a wordsmith whose songs are essential to Sunday morning church, are set to be honored with performances by an assembly of anointed musicians (who are to be announced).
