Nowadays we are quick to say that there are no more good men out there, but is that really true?
Don Trip is proof that, that saying might just be a myth. His heart wrenching song Letter To My Son talks about him not being able to truly build a bond with his first born son because of the absence of a relationship between he and his son’s mother.

It seems today most women try to use their children as bargaining chips in order to get what they want out of the father, but is that fair? Should the child be punished or robbed of a relationship with their parent because their mother and father’s relationship didn’t “work out”?
Don’t get me wrong. I know that there are some guys out there who live by the motto “if you make ‘em you take ‘em” but men like Don Trip are saying something differen’t, they want to be father’s. They want to have a part in raising thier sons to be men and showing their daughter’s how to be treated like women.
Is it up to the mother to decide whether that can happen or not? Is the mind frame of If you don’t want me you don’t want your child killing our children?
