NY Times bestselling author Steve Stoute sat down with Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow to talk about her views on Black and Jewish hair issues, her love of hip-hop, and why Beyonce and Rihanna deserved to be on the cover of VOGUE long before they actually landed it.

As part of his AOL Huff Post series, The Tanning Effect, Stoute chatted with the actress who’s known for not holding her tongue. Growing up in an all white neighborhood in Santa Monica, Gwyneth Paltrow, who counts The Carters as her and her hubby Chris Martin‘s best friends. admits she saw very little “tanning” in her surroundings.

In the brief clip Couric quizzed Beyonce about her cravings: ‘Not really anything crazy. I read that I like ketchup on everything,’ said Beyonce. ‘I read that too,’ answers Katie, ‘Is it true?’ ‘Not true!’ Beyonce giggled.

The R&B diva chatted with the talk show host about her personal and professional life including what attracted her to her husband, L.A. The Hollywood Reporter writes: Ralph Craig – the naked yoga teacher who allegedly became the final straw in Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries volcanic 72-day marriage — got a lot of exposure for his Sunday appearance on E!’s Kourtney & Kim Take New York season premiere. And some flack.

After walking into the naked yoga class arranged by Kourtney Kardashian, featuring girls in thongs and a handsome naked dread-locked yogi, Kris railed at Kim about the “disgusting and disrespectful” event, referred to Craig as a “stripper” claimed he felt like “throwing up” and skedaddled back to Montana.

That Kardashian reign just won’t let up!!

Looks like a little divorce drama helped the Kardashians score some record ratings last night, as E! reports that Sunday’s premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take New York was the series’ most watched season opener to date!

The hit reality show attracted nearly 3.2 million total viewers, exceeding last season’s premiere numbers by 6%. Last night Kim, Khloe and Kourtney made sure #KKTNY was a trending topic on Twitter, and Kourt wrote, “Wooop! Who’s watching? I miss NYC!”

The Black Eyed Peas are taking a break, but despite rumors, they are not breaking up. Fergie, will.i.am, Taboo, and apl.de.ap appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to make the announcement.

“When we take breaks, we work on side projects or get our little personal stuff in order to then come back and make beautiful music,” said frontman will.i.am, who will release his solo album #willpower next year.

KATY PERRY TO HOST SNL!

Just Jared has confirmed that Katy Perry will host Saturday Night Live on December 10. Robyn will be the week’s musical guest.

Only days ago, the 27-year-old singer received the American Music Award of Special Achievement. She also racked up four Grammy nominations in 2010, including one for “Album of the Year,” and won three MTV 2011 Video Music Awards, including Video of the Year.

Katy will wrap up her worldwide sold-out California Dreams arena tour later this week in Los Angeles.
