CHECK IT OUT: NEON HITCH COVERS WIZ KHALIFA’S “ON MY LEVEL”!!!

Have you ever heard of Neon Hitch? Yeah me neither but after hearing her cover Wiz Khalifa’s “On My Level” I got interested real fast.

Apparently this isn’t the first cover the London singer has done, Neon has been doing covers on Youtube for years. Her best so far being the gorgeous Sia/Mike Posner song “Cooler Than Me” according to The Prophet Blog, which currently stands as one of the most watched clips on her Youtube channel but I think this cover will change all that. AMY WINEHOUSE ALBUM & SINGLE’S SALES SKYROCKET!!!

In the same way that fans rushed out to buy Michael Jackson’s music following his passing in June 2009, Amy Winehouse‘s album and single sales have skyrocketed in the days since her death at age 27 on Saturday.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, Winehouse sold more albums in the past reporting week (which ended on Sunday) than she did in the first six months of this year, moving 50,000 copies versus 44,000 year-to-date as of July 17.

MTV celebrates Amy Winehouse’s music with a special show this Wednesday.

That sales push has sent her second album, 2006′s breakthrough Back to Black, into the #9 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, with 37,000 copies sold. In the previous week, the album had sold just 1,000 copies. In a testament to the power of the Internet, of those Black sales, 36,000 were digital.

Kelly Rowland cited Chris Brown as one of her influences on her just released Here I Am album, so perhaps it’s fitting that the former Destiny’s Child singer is hitting the road with Breezy this fall.

“I’m also going on tour with Chris Brown in September,” she told New York’s Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez on Tuesday, Neon Limelight reports. “I’m so excited about that.” She said that the logistics were still being worked out. “Getting ready for that show — literally getting ready. I’m sitting up here emailing and all that kind of stuff, finding people now.”

Kelly Rowland stopped by The Breakfast Club Morning Show this morning with Angela Yee, Charlamange and DJ Envy to promote her new album ‘Here I Am’ which is in stores now and thankfully Kelly didn’t get the Lil Mama treatment.

During her brief interview, she discussed her BET Awards performance, Beyonce comparisons and whether there will be a Destiny’s Child reunion. She also spoke on Mathew Knowles and his current situation with Beyonce and became a little emotional while speaking on whether she has talked to her father since his attempt to contact her a few months ago.
