E! reports, “Superstar supermom Beyoncé is expecting her second child with hubby Jay-Z, multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News.” The news follows rampant speculation that the “Countdown” songbird was pregnant, even as the couple remained tight-lipped about their ever-growing family.

Rumors first began churning that the Grammy winner was with child when, earlier this month, she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala wearing a custom-made Givenchy gown that deftly concealed her stomach, its bodice cinched high above the waist just as its intricate pattern made it difficult to discern any change in her silhouette.

Speculation then went into overdrive Tuesday after Beyoncé was forced to cancel her Mrs. Carter Show performance in Antwerp, Belgium, after doctors advised her to rest “as a result of dehydration and exhaustion.”

The 31-year-old recently spoke out about the possibility of giving 1-year-old Blue Ivy a sibling, telling ABC News that she “would like more children” and explaining that she thinks her daughter “needs some company.”

Looks like that company is coming sooner rather than later. Congrats to the happy family!

It’s been a busy 2013 at Def Jam Records. The Hip Hop mainstay witnessed the departure of Joie Manda in March, who left his post as label president to lead the Urban Music team at competitor, Interscope Records. Yesterday (May 13), Senior Vice President of A&R Sha Money XL announced his leaving for a similar spot at Epic Records. In the flurry of moves, today, Def Jam announced the promotion of Shawn “Pecas” Costner to label Executive Vice President. For the last three years, Pecas served as Senior VP at the label that is home to Kanye West, 2 Chainz and The Roots.

Pecas previously worked for both Elektra and Arista Records and joined Def Jam in 2005, building his name in the industry as one of the best to work with. According to HotNewHipHop, Pecas is honored to have been the one that was chosen for this position.

Drake hasn’t dropped his 2013 album yet, but the Young Money hitmaker looks to reign over the rest of the calendar year. Not only is Drizzy a safe bet to earn a few platinum plaques after he drops his third LP, Nothing Was the Same, but odds are the Toronto MC will add a few statues to his collection as well now that he is nominated for a whopping 12 awards at the upcoming 2013 BET Awards.

On Tuesday (May 14), BET held a Los Angeles press conference and revealed that Drizzy is up for a dozen awards, including five separate nominations in the Video of the Year category for “Started From the Bottom,” “HYFR” and his contributions to 2 Chainz’s “No Lie,” A$AP Rocky’s “F—in’ Problems” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice.”

Chris Brown and R. Kelly were also announced as performers, and “Friday” actor Chris Tucker will be the host, when it airs live June 30.

Drake isn’t the only big nominee: Both 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar earned eight nominations a piece, A$AP Rocky and Jay-Z each have five, and Justin Timberlake and Miguel have four each.

TMZ spotted four of the five group members Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres having lunch in Los Angeles with a new manager. Sources say the ladies were discussing their plans to move forward with new music without their former boss, Diddy.

When the site’s photographers asked if Diddy was going to be involved in their reported reunion, O’Day responded, “Who’s that?”

Diddy signed the band to Bad Boy Records after “Making the Band,” but dropped them in 2009. Wanita ‘D. Woods’ Woodgette will reportedly not be included in the new line-up.

The group is perhaps most famous for the hit single ”Damaged.”

CBS has said no to a TV version of the 1984 Eddie Murphy action-comedy Beverly Hills Cop. The network commissioned a pilot for an hour-long procedural based on the film last year, but the show didn’t make it on CBS’s Fall 2013 schedule, which the network is unveiling this week.

The pilot was created by The Shield’s Shawn Ryan and it centered on Axel Foley’s son, Aaron Foley (played by Brandon T. Jackson from Tropic Thunder and Big Momma’s House 3), who is following in his father’s footsteps by doing fish-out-of-water detective work on the west side of Los Angeles.

So it’s dead… for now. Given that there was supposedly interest in the project from all 4 major networks, there’s a chance that it could end up elsewhere… or not. So stay tuned.

Cee Lo Green has hosted his own show called Talking to Strangers and been coach on the singing competition The Voice, and soon the Gnarles Barkley singer will be starring in yet another television series. This one is a reality show tentatively titled The Cee Lo Life.

The program is slated to premiere in 2014. It’s unscripted, and the Hollywood Reporter reveals that it will follow Cee Lo as he goes about making music and reuniting his hip-hop group the Goodie Mob. It’s been green lighted for six episodes by TBS.

CeeLo said during a recent TV appearance that he would be back on NBC’s The Voice next season, so it’s likely the networks will coordinate filming around green’s increasingly busy schedule.

Gross stars alongside Dermot Mulroney and Gillian Anderson, in what is described as an emotionally-charged political action thriller set in Washington DC, that will follow Marcus Finley (played by Gross), an idealistic Secret Service agent who finds himself at the center of an international crisis on his first day on the job as the President’s son’s protection, when the son, along with several of his schoolmates, are kidnapped.

Here’s NBC’s official synopsis for the series:

It’s field trip day for the students of Ballard High School, a place that educates the children of Washington, D.C.’s elite, top-of-their-industry CEOs, international diplomats, political power players and even the president’s son. But when their bus is ambushed on a secluded rural road, the teenagers and their chaperones are taken, igniting a national crisis. Michael Beach will play the FBI Director who’s managing the crisis, joining Rachael Taylor, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Joshua Erenberg, Max Schneider, James Lafferty, and Max Martini, rounding out the cast.

NBC has set Sunday nights at 10pm as the new series’ air day and time. We’ll have a better idea of what shows on other networks it’ll be up against soon enough.

Also, Lance Gross revealed to New York’s Hot 97 hosts Angie Martinez and DJ Enuff, that he was up for the Harrison Wright role in Scandal, but obviously lost to Columbus Short. He also says that he wanted to play P Diddy in Notorious, but the part ended up going to Derek Luke.

Fox Searchlight moved the film’s release date up by a month to September 27, 2013, in what will be one of the most crowded fall seasons in black cinema history, given the number of black films scheduled to open between August and December this year. Two albums? Two tours? Such is the case for Justin Timberlake. He’s already scheduled a summer tour alongside Jay-Z in support of The 20/20 Experience. Now, with news of a second album on the way for September, Timberlake has announced a more extensive North American leg as part of “The 20/20 Experience World Tour”. The jaunt begins in Montreal on Halloween and stretches through mid February.

Phaedra’s planned due date was May 25th. She began to experience severe stomach pains this morning on the way to work, and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors performed an emergency Caesarean. Fortunately, both mother and baby are happy and healthy. Apollo and Phaedra’s mom Regina Bell were there to witness the birth. The boy’s name was not immediately available.

Baby Nida weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces.

The couple, who have been married since 2009, are already parents to Ayden, who turns 3 this month.

The cable network aimed at young male viewers said it will begin airing the action documentary series with the indelible theme song (“bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?”) in September.

The move isn’t really a surprise. Fox had cut down on the number of episodes ordered this season and frequently pre-empted the show for football games or ultimate fighting matches, which drew higher ratings. Fox will announce its fall season schedule next week.

“All good things must come to an end and there’s a renewal process in life,” said John Langley, the show’s creator. “I’m fortunate I have the opportunity to take it to Spike.”

The 26th season of “Cops” starts this September, with Spike TV airing the show in its original time slot: 8pm/7c on Saturday nights.

Last month Theophilus London dropped his first new studio track in a minute. “Rio” is the first taste of what’s to come on his forthcoming album, due later this year. The song, featuring the Menahan Street Band, now has an official video, which premiered on mtvU. The video was directed by Tim Cruz, and produced by Mike Mihail for Guerilla Hollywood.

The Weinstein Company has dropped the first trailer for the movie and it’s def an Oscar contender. Penned by Danny Strong, movie tells the true tale of Eugene Allen, the late WhiteHouse butler who served eight presidents during his tenure from 1952 to 1986. News of the sentencing comes just after Hill’s attorney confirmed that she paid over $900,000 on the remaining debt yesterday, one day before she was due back in court. It appears that the attempt– and the release of a new song in accordance with her new record deal with Sony that allotted her the money to pay back Uncle Sam–weren’t enough to convince a judge that she deserves to be free.

Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to three months in prison for failing to pay taxes on about $1 million in earnings. She was also sentenced Monday in Newark to three additional months of home confinement.

The 37-year-old South Orange resident pleaded guilty last year in the case. During a forceful statement to the judge, Hill explained she had always meant to eventually pay the taxes but was unable to during a period of time when she dropped out of the music business.

Before the sentencing, her attorney had said Hill had paid more than $970,000 to satisfy the state and federal tax liabilities. Hill faced a maximum one year sentence for each of the three charges stemming from her more than $1 million in tax debt. It is unclear when she will report to custody.

In an email obtained by Reuters, Hill’s attorney Nathan Hochman states that Hill has paid her debt in its entirety: “Ms Hill has not only now fully paid prior to sentencing her taxes, which are part of her criminal restitution, but she has additionally fully paid her federal and state personal taxes for the entire period under examination through 2009.”

Even after releasing a Tumblr blog post on Thursday (May 2nd) stating she “signed a new record deal, and that I did this to pay taxes” her attorney attests the funds used to make the tax payments were not from record sales. Hochman says the funds derived from a combination of sources and last month that Hill obtained a loan from two pieces of real estate.

On Saturday (May 4th), a day before this news, Hill released a new song, “Neurotic Society” to iTunes and reiterated that her music is being released for legal reasons: ”Here is a link to a piece that I was ‘required’ to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline,” she writes in her blog post

This decision was monumental, we commend Mountain Dew for taking action towards better social responsibility, and now I finally feel that we can exhale and focus on our beloved Mamie Till Mobley’s charge, ”Let’s get on with the business of positive thinking and living”.”

Simeon Wright was an eyewitness to the kidnapping of Emmett Till. He was shocked that the Pepsi-owned Mountain Dew decided to cut ties with one of the biggest rappers out.

“This is beyond my expectations, I’m pleased that it happened and it shouldn’t waited for public outcry. Anything that belittles or degrades the memory of Emmett Till shouldn’t be in the public square,” Wright said. “Racism is still out there. Whatever you listen too, whatever you do, get an education. ‘Don’t let this system destroy you.’”

Had the Till Family simply gotten the apology they deserved, this may not have happened. Arrogance gets you nowhere.

While cocaine and heroin are likely to be the deadly combination that took the life of Chris Kelly, police have not revealed the toxicology results yet.

In addition, Kelly’s mother told police that Kelly had become sick after using the deadly combination of drugs often called “speed-balling.” The Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta, Georgia will hold a public viewing for Kelly in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday (May 8).

The funeral services will take place on Thursday (May 9) at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church.

Chris Kelly’s passing comes just weeks after he re-united with fellow Kris Kross member Chris Smith for the So-So Def 20th Anniversary All-Star concert. The group was said to be joining a possible So-So Def reunion tour in the coming months. Chis Kelly was just 34 year-old.

Fresh off her one-night-only show at New York’s Gramercy Theatre, she dished about her first studio album since 2005’s The Naked Truth.

She has enlisted the platinum hit maker (Lil Wayne’s “A Milli,” Beyoncé’s “Diva”) as executive producer. “He’s executive-producing it,” the Brooklyn rapper told Wetpaint. “And we do have other producers working on the album, as well.”

The lead single will arrive this summer, produced by Bangladesh. “The first single that’s coming out in late June/first week of July is produced by Bangladesh, for sure.”

While she wouldn’t reveal the title, she did drop a hint: “Sweet dessert!”

Kim has not set a release date, but she promises more surprises for her fans. “I got a lot of gifts for y’all in the month of June,” she said. “I’m a deliverer, I promise y’all.”

This is pretty exciting, but I hope she has a bunch of features from new artist to keep us interested.  He last efforts have been mediocre at best.

ROSS X SWIZZ X REEBOK CEO!!!!!! today’s meeting.”

Since Swizzy didn’t elaborate, it’s assumed that the meeting means Ross (who was rocking a pair of Reebok Questions in the snapshot) will soon be back in the sneaker brand’s good graces.

In a special episode of Andy Cohen’s talk show – officially called Watch What Happens Live NeNe One-On-One, airing Sunday (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo – Cohen chats with Leakes about something she during the ‘Atlanta’ reunion.

“We probably need to replace a person,” she said at the time. When Cohen asked her whom she had in mind, Leakes said, “No, thank you. I’ll talk to you about it at your office.”

Well, the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse is as good a place as any. “Was that Porsha that you were talking about?” Cohen asks in a clip of Sunday’s episode (below).

Leakes responds: “Yes, I did feel that Porsha at that time needed to leave the show because there was something – I’m a good judge of character; I’ve been blessed, child, I’ve been given a gift – and I kept feeling like Porsha and Kordell were not being real enough.”

But Porsha seems to think she and NeNe are BFFs!

“I’m definitely blessed to have a strong support system around me,” Porsha told PEOPLE in a recent interview. “NeNe, she’s been through a similar situation in her past. She’s telling me to take care of me right now, and that’s what I’m doing.”

Jeffery continues, “Basically as I was doing show prep this morning, I came across a blog site that had his birthday posted as today. I was trying to remember if that was correct because I remembered it being August the 11th.”

“I just randomly called him to get him on the air to wish him a happy birthday if this was true and he answered the phone.When you listen to the phone conversation, you can tell there is a lot going on in the background.”

CNN affiliate WXIA confirms Chris Kelly, from Kris Kross, was found dead at his home tonight in Atlanta. Chris Kelly, from the 90s rap group “Kris Kross” was found unresponsive Wednesday evening inside his Atlanta home, WXIA-TV reported. He was pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center around 8 p.m. eastern. He was 34.

Chris Kelly’s mom and So So Def released a statement:

“It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Chris Kelly has passed away on May 1. To millions of fans worldwide, he was the trendsetting, backwards pants-wearing one-half of Kris Kross who loved making music. But to us, he was just Chris – the kind, generous and fun-loving life of the party. Though he was only with us a short time, we feel blessed to have been able to share some incredible moments with him. His legacy will live on through his music, and we will forever love him.”

The duo was seen back in January and were said to be reuniting at the So So Def 20th anniversary concert later this year.

Lil Wayne didn’t desire to see his Mountain Dew money go down the drain and has given the formal apology Emmett Till’s family requested. After months of avoiding the issue, Wayne’s mea culpa comes after the family recently announced their intentions to pressure the Pepsi-backed soft drink company, one of the rapper’s largest corporate endorsers.

In an open letter he writes:

Dear Till Family:

As a recording artist, I have always been interested in word play. My lyrics often reference people, places and events in my music, as well as the music that I create for or alongside other artists.

It has come to my attention that lyrics from my contribution to a fellow artist’s song has deeply offended your family. As a father myself, I cannot imagine the pain that your family has had to endure. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your hurt, as well as the letter you sent to me via your attorneys.

Moving forward, I will not use or reference Emmett Till or the Till family in my music, especially in an inappropriate manner. I fully support Epic Record’s decision to take down the unauthorized version of the song and to not include the reference in the version that went to retail. I will not be performing the lyrics that contain that reference live and have removed them from my catalogue.

I have tremendous respect for those who paved the way for the liberty and opportunities that African-Americans currently enjoy. As a business owner who employs several African-American employees and gives philanthropically to organizations that help youth to pursue their dreams my ultimate intention is to uplift rather than degrade our community.

Before NBA player Jason Collins went public as the first openly gay active professional basketball player, he sought advice from another high profile out star.

The 34-year-old free agent, who played with the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics this past season, spoke to former *NSYNC member Lance Bass.

“He’s been trying to plan this for a very long time. He’s been contemplating if he wanted to do this. In fact, he said he was going to call me months ago but was too scared, because he wanted to tell me,” Lance said on Monday on his SiriusXM radio show, “Dirty Pop With Lance Bass.”

Once those interviews commence, Bass predicted America will fall in love with Collins. He remembers how fearful he was that people would make fun of him when he came out, and how surprised he was when it didn’t happen.

The movie has other historical inaccuracies, including the scene where Robinson breaks his bat in the dugout tunnel and the presence of radio broadcaster Red Barber at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ away games.

He tells Sports Illustrated, “I didn’t set out to be the first openly gay athlete playing in a major American team sport. But since I am, I’m happy to start the conversation. I wish I wasn’t the kid in the classroom raising his hand and saying, ‘I’m different.’”

If I had my way, someone else would have already done this. Nobody has, which is why I’m raising my hand. My journey of self-discovery and self-acknowledgement began in my hometown of Los Angeles and has taken me through two state high school championships, the NCAA Final Four and the Elite Eight, and nine playoffs in 12 NBA seasons.

Jason Collins played with the Celtics and Wizards this season, his 12th in the NBA. Why am I coming out now? Well, I started thinking about this in 2011 during the NBA player lockout. I’m a creature of routine. When the regular season ends I immediately dedicate myself to getting game ready for the opener of the next campaign in the fall. But the lockout wreaked havoc on my habits and forced me to confront who I really am and what I really want. With the season delayed, I trained and worked out. But I lacked the distraction that basketball had always provided.

The first relative I came out to was my aunt Teri, a superior court judge in San Francisco. Her reaction surprised me. “I’ve known you were gay for years,” she said. From that moment on I was comfortable in my own skin. In her presence I ignored my censor button for the first time. She gave me support. The relief I felt was a sweet release. Imagine you’re in the oven, baking. Some of us know and accept our sexuality right away and some need more time to cook. I should know — I baked for 33 years.

The recent Boston Marathon bombing reinforced the notion that I shouldn’t wait for the circumstances of my coming out to be perfect. Things can change in an instant, so why not live truthfully? When I told Joe a few weeks ago that I was gay, he was grateful that I trusted him. He asked me to join him in 2013. We’ll be marching on June 8.

No one wants to live in fear. I’ve always been scared of saying the wrong thing. I don’t sleep well. I never have. But each time I tell another person, I feel stronger and sleep a little more soundly. It takes an enormous amount of energy to guard such a big secret. I’ve endured years of misery and gone to enormous lengths to live a lie. I was certain that my world would fall apart if anyone knew. And yet when I acknowledged my sexuality I felt whole for the first time. I still had the same sense of humor, I still had the same mannerisms and my friends still had my back.

Jason continues, “I didn’t come out to my brother until last summer. His reaction to my breakfast revelation was radically different from Aunt Teri’s. He was downright astounded. He never suspected. So much for twin telepathy. But by dinner that night, he was full of brotherly love. For the first time in our lives, he wanted to step in and protect me.”

The strain of hiding my sexuality became almost unbearable in March, when the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments for and against same-sex marriage. Less then three miles from my apartment, nine jurists argued about my happiness and my future. Here was my chance to be heard, and I couldn’t say a thing. I didn’t want to answer questions and draw attention to myself. Not while I was still playing.

Jason talks about how other players will respond, “The simple answer is, I have no idea. I’m a pragmatist. I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. The biggest concern seems to be that gay players will behave unprofessionally in the locker room. Believe me, I’ve taken plenty of showers in 12 seasons. My behavior wasn’t an issue before, and it won’t be one now. My conduct won’t change. I still abide by the adage, “What happens in the locker room stays in the locker room.” I’m still a model of discretion.

As I write this, I haven’t come out to anyone in the NBA. I’m not privy to what other players say about me. Maybe Mike Miller, my old teammate in Memphis, will recall the time I dropped by his house in Florida and say, “I enjoyed being his teammate, and I sold him a dog.” I hope players swap stories like that. Maybe they’ll talk about my character and what kind of person I am.

I’m glad I can stop hiding and refocus on my 13th NBA season. I’ve been running through the Santa Monica Mountains in a 30-pound vest with Shadow, the German shepherd I got from Mike Miller. In the pros, the older you get, the better shape you must be in. Next season a few more eyeballs are likely to be on me. That only motivates me to work harder.

Some people insist they’ve never met a gay person. But Three Degrees of Jason Collins dictates that no NBA player can claim that anymore. Pro basketball is a family. And pretty much every family I know has a brother, sister or cousin who’s gay. In the brotherhood of the NBA, I just happen to be the one who’s out.

“My advisers were a little worried about the new rap entrance music. They are a little more traditional. They suggested that I should start with jokes at my own expense. Just take myself down a peg. I was like, guys after four and a half years how many pegs are there left?”

The president noted that he had taken some heat lately for things like the Easter Egg Roll at the White House.

“Maybe I have lost a step,” the president admitted, “but some things are beyond my control. For example this whole controversy about Jay Z going to Cuba. It’s unbelievable. I’ve got 99 problems and now Jay Z is one of them.”

“That’s another rap reference,” he told the audience.

The actress recently did an interview with CocoaFab addressing her love of Reality TV, and whether it is in the cards for her. She also spoke about a recent character spoof she did of Mona Scott Young and Shaunie O’Neal called “Mona O’Neil.”

The “Second Generation Wayans” star is still very much a fan of ratchet reality television, “I watch them all! If there are black girls doing stuff, I watch it because it’s so rare to see us doing anything,” says Tatyana candidly. “I didn’t mean it be critical, even though I guess it was because I have a brain. I watch Real Housewives, I love it! I watch Love and Hip Hop. Some of it, I don’t love. I feel like when networks found out that black women watch more TV than anyone else unfortunately what we get is sisters fighting sisters. I’m finding we’re not necessarily always getting quality.”

Tatyana on whether she’ll be doing reality television anytime soon:

“Number one my ass is boring,” laughs Tatyana. “I read books all day. I’m always studying. There’s nothing to watch. I don’t have beef with anybody. Number two, I’m an actor. If you know everything about me to the color of my underwear, how are you going to believe me when I say, I’m this character now? I just like acting a lot. I’m from the theater, I like pretending. If you know me, and think you know me and think you know me I can’t ask you to pretend anymore. It’s like the dream is gone.”

A new study from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee that looked at the prison population there found that the state has the highest percentage of incarcerated black men in the country. About 1 in 8 black men of working age (13 percent) are in state prisons or jails. The national average is 6.7 percent.According to census figures, African-Americans make up 6.5 percent of the state’s population.

A big chunk of the state’s black male prison population comes from Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s biggest city. According to the researchers, more than half of all black men in their 30s and 40s had been incarcerated at some point. That means there’s a large population of men in the state’s biggest city who are essentially unemployable, which puts a huge drag on the economy and a big reason Milwaukee is one of the poorest big cities in the country.

Milwaukee’s poor felons are concentrated in the same neighborhoods: the study also found that almost two-thirds of Milwaukee County’s incarcerated black men come from the city’s six poorest zip codes.

Wisconsin also leads the nation in the percentage of Native men behind bars; 1 in 13 Indian men are incarcerated there.

Here’s some of it, which looks back at Milwaukee County’s recent history:

“8,287, or one-third, of the African American men incarcerated since 1990 showed only non-violent offenses.”

and:

“Forty percent(N=10,497) of the African American males from Milwaukee County incarcerated since 1990 were drug offenders. In the early 1990s African Americans had 4 times as many annual admissions for drug-related offenses as white men. As drug offenses soared in the 2002 to 2005 years African American men had 11 to 12 times as many drug-related prison admissions as white men.”

If that is the case, how do you stop it?

In the film, Diaz plays a lawyer who realizes her boyfriend’s married, so she teams up with his wife to plot revenge.  Nicki, who has previously lent her vocal talents to Steffie the mammoth in Ice Age 4: Continental Drift, will play the assistant to Diaz’s character and her character is described as “larger-than-life, opinionated, sharp and brutally honest.”  Well, that shouldn’t be a problem for her, now should it?

The Other Women will begin shooting in New York in late spring to early summer.

Nicki wins again!

Bruno Mars makes his first appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone in their next issue. The Hawaiian-born star talks to senior writer Brian Hiatt about his 25-year history as an entertainer, which started when he began impersonating Elvis Presley in the family band at age two. Before he was even in kindergarten, Mars was leading the group in their hugely successful show in Las Vegas, but when the band broke up Bruno’s family struggled to pay the bills, and life as he knew it fell apart. “I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” he says. “Because I feel like I can enjoy this so much.”

Mars kicks off an arena tour in late June, and his Number One single “When I Was Your Man” has been all over radio for months. Very reluctantly, he reveals that he wrote the song for his girlfriend, model Jessica Caban, when he worried he was losing her. They stayed together, and now Mars has difficulty playing the song. “You’re bringing up all these old emotions again,” he says. “It’s just like bleeding!”

Earlier this year, while promoting her new model competition show, The Face, she voiced her concern over models losing covers to television stars and music artists:

Of course, we want the magazine covers back. There are less covers for the girls out there who are the new, young, trendy girls. She’s got more to compete with and there are only a certain amount of covers they’re going to give a model a year. Before, you had models twelve months a year.

While showing off that flawless skin and toned body in the exclusive photo shoot, she dished some tea on how she found the fountain of youth:

She tells the magazine:

I started drinking a gallon of water a day [in my mid-thirties.] It changed everything from weight maintenance, to hair, skin, nails and digestion. Plus, I stay younger by dating younger.

She added:

Dip into the kiddie pool, ladies! It worked for me!

She also told the magazine that at age 40, she’s the woman she’s always wanted to be.

[via Variety] Magic Johnson’s cabler Aspire has greenlit “Exhale,” a talkshow in the vein of “The View” to be hosted by five African-American women in the entertainment space.

Weekly yakker aims to bring candid conversation to topics including family, relationships, career, money and faith. Co-hosts are journo Angela Burt-Murray, thesp and comedian Erin Jackson, helmer Issa Rae, author and TV anchor Rene Syler and actress Malinda Williams.

“Exhale,” produced by Lynne Robinson and Black Robin Media, will be Aspire’s third original series. Show has begun lensing, and the eight-episode first run will bow in June to coincide with the net’s one-year anniversary.

“We are thrilled to add ‘Exhale’ to our lineup of original programming,” said the cabler’s g.m. Paul Butler. “This fresh, hip and candid new series will enlighten audiences with its broad range of topics relevant to the community.”

Aspire launched last June as a part of the deal struck between Comcast and NBCUniversal and targets African-American auds.

In the interview she talks about her beef with Mama Dee, “[Her gripe] was I don’t spend time with her or do anything with her or take her. I’m like ‘I’m with your son, not you. You seem to be confused.’ She might just have the Oedipus Complex. That’s your son, not your man.”

Dixon also claims that any attempts on her end to reconcile the two women’s differences are impossible because “she’s old” and “she’s miserable”. The inflammatory comments culminate in Dixon making a salacious accusation of Mama Dee’s sexual promiscuity:

“I’ve been around 11 year come August. I’ve seen Mama Dee run through about 10 to 15 men. No one sticks on. So that in itself speaks on her character.”

Me, kind of falling apart and going through whatever I was going through and losing touch with my focus. If you go back to the movie ‘Waist Deep,” I was 255 in that movie. It wasn’t directed at women it was directed at anyone who finds themselves uninspired and unmotivated when it comes to their health. We got 20 million something people dying of obesity.”

“It was a poor choice of words in that particular article but for me, I did a book and I talked about this topic and it was an uncomfortable read but I also exposed myself and talked about how my career was literally falling apart in front of me and I got lazy in terms of my health. It was a bad choice of words. For those people that I rubbed the wrong way from my poor choice of wording, here’s my public apology. I was really putting myself out there, exposing my own truths. If I’m being insensitive, I’ m actually talking about my mama, my sisters and everyone else. That wasn’t the goal of the interview. The goal was to motivate and inspire. It was a bad choice of words, period.”
