Janelle Monae was all smiles as she left the BET AWARDS after party at Cecconi’s!!!
I’m sure the reason why was because she ripped it on stage during the Prince tribute … unlike her counterpart Trey Songz who completely messed up “Purple Rain!” There’s something about Janelle that makes me want to be friends with her! LOL! Am I the only one??!!

Last night I covered the 2010 BET Awards after party in West Hollywood at Cecconi’s!
Normally the location, is pretty high end [J.Lo, Tom Cruise, Will & Jada, Cameron Diaz etc frequent the place]. Of course last night it was ‘hood like every other place in town, and the police had to shut it down a little early.
So I watched Mr. Trey Songz stumble out of the club, having to be held up by three men! LOL! I wonder why he got so tore up! Maybe because of the Prince performance he completely ruined?? Or maybe because he got son’d by Patti LaBelle!! Either way that suit was fitting him just right so….if we can forgive Chris Brown, we can forgive Trey Songz for gurggling Purple Rain like it was Listerine!

And everyone at the party had their legs OUT!! We spotted the most beautiful and talented Eva Marcille as she entered. And y’all her walk is MEAN!! I don’t know how or why Lance gave this one up, but trust and believe someone will scoop this dime up soon. If this girl in the background hasn’t already! OOOOOPS! OH MY!
