BIRDMAN GOES POP!

Birdman made his signing of a new pop singer/songwriter official with a short vlog, released earlier this morning. Chris Richardson, who appeared on the sixth season of American Idol is the latest act to sign with YMCMB.

“Being part of this team, I’m really family-oriented so just having the comradery of everyone in this label is just something so special,” says Chris. “I can’t even explain it. But it definitely is inspiring. Every day I come into the studio and I go until I stop, really. I’m so inspired to all my label mates, everybody here are still here doing the same thing.”

GOP Presidential hopeful Ron Paul has recently been accused of racist and homophobic literature stemming from a newsletter he founded years ago. But that didn’t stop ole Miss American pie eating, American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson from tweeting her full support of the candidate!

“I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t.”

Of course her tweets were met with a huge backlash from her more educated followers:

SCOTT McCREERY EMBARRASSED AT MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE

American Idol winner Scott McCreery was left red faced after flubbing his lip syncing during the famed Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and RadarOnline.com has the embarrassing video.

The 18-year-old missed his cue when his voice was heard singing The Trouble With Girls and he was a couple seconds behind in his miming. The teenager was forced to quickly play catch up, but his mistake was obvious to the estimated 50 million people watching the show on TV.

Simon Cowell is at it again. This time his target is Lady Gaga. Simon says, that without seeing her, Lady Gaga is “the most boring singer in the world.”

The X Factor USA judge, who has previously admitted that he would have rejected GaGa if she auditioned for one of his talent shows, claims that along with superstars Beyoncé and Katy Perry, GaGa is boring!

Who invited HER? Nicole Scherzinger served as stage filler during this past weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The “X Factor” judge hit Vegas to perform material from her flop solo debut Killer Love including “Right There,” “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” and “Club Banger Nation.” Yeah, I never heard of those songs either. She also dueted with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler “(It) Feels So Good,” while American Idol’s Randy Jackson played bass.

In a classy new interview with my favorite radio personality Howard Stern earlier this week the subject of Idol’s original star Kelly Clarkson was brought up – in particular her career, and how its fared ever since she started trying to take more creative control over her music. Needless to say, Simon had some interesting thoughts on the subject.

Kelly Clarkson dropped her new single, “Mr. Know It All,” on her website this week. It’s the first track off her Stronger album, due in October.

The song is an obvious Clarkson joint: feisty and straightforward, with a strong melody and a sing-along chorus. The midtempo breakup tune is about a girl letting her guy know that despite thinking he’s got it all figured out, he doesn’t.
