‘STOMP THE YARD 2′ ACTOR COLLINS PENNIE TAKES CENTER STAGE!

Collins Pennie, 25-year-old actor/artist, will play the role of Benjamin “Benny” Coffin III in the musical Rent at the Hollywood Bowl later this summer!

The show will debut on August 6th, 2010, and will run through August 8th. The musical is being directed by How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris and has a star-studded cast that includes actor and comedian Wayne Brady in the role of Collins, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens as Mimi and bombshell Nicole Scherzinger, front woman of The Pussy Cat Dolls, as Maureen.

Growing up in the Brooklyn projects in numerous foster homes, Collins Pennie knew from a young age that he had dreams bigger than what his community could offer him.

The budding star hit the Twilight: Eclipse premiere BLACK CARPET yesterday, which was the absolute hottest ticket in Los Angeles. So how did this young, basically, unknown get such a hot carpet?

Because homie is the next best thing – check it – Collins is the star of upcoming “Stomp The Yard 2″, “Fame” and has just been added to the cast of Jada Pinkett’s new show – “Hawthorne.” You go boy! He’s slowly being crafted to be the “it” boy in Hollywood – without having to do a Tyler Perry film!! LOL! [and no he is not a she MEDIATAKEOUT..LOL...don't hate him cause he's pretty!!] So Lance Gross, Columbus Short, Brian White, and Laz Alonso better watchout!! Not convinced? Although MediaTakeOut is reporting the Collins is choppin down Kanye’s girlfriend Amber Rose, I’m told that is simply untrue.

Damn girl! Ms. Kanye West is gorgeous in PINK! Yes, she is still Ms. Kanye West HATEEEEEEERZ!!

My sources say Ms. Rose just got back from visiting her boo Kanye West in Hawaii the other day. Homegirl was spotted arriving at LAX from an inbound flight from there! So it looks like the two love birds are still on an poppin’ - – and now we see why! Yeeeezy is sprung on dat thoia-thoing!!

Now about the gag order that ‘Ye suppsedly has on her???? I can’t confirm or deny the existence of that, but in the video you see I asked Amber if she was on team Lil’ Kim or team Nicki Minaj and she slightly opened her mouth as if to say something [I'm assuming Nicki], and thought twice about it and stayed quiet!!! Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. LOL!!
