It looks like the Common vs. Drake beef ain’t going nowhere soon!

STEVIE WONDER JOINS COMMON ON STAGE!

Stevie Wonder blessed Common at his show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Wednesday night by joining him onstage (Dec. 21).

IS DRAKE GRILLING BEEF WITH COMMON?

It seems that the ongoing, though mostly subliminal, war of words is continuing between rappers Common and Drake.

Apparently, Drake was in Vegas over the weekend and was recorded saying something to the effect of, “I might sing, but I’m no b*tch.” Then he topped it off with something like, “If [Common] got something to say, say it to my face.”

COMMOM DEBUTS ‘CELEBRATE’ VIDEO!

On the day that his fellow Chicagoan President Obama brings the troops home from Iraq, Common is right on time with the video to “Celebrate.” Common’s new album The Dreamer, The Believer is in stores this Tuesday December 20th.

The clip begins with a soldier’s return home and takes us through a New Year’s Eve party with Ludacris and Tyga making cameo appearances.

COMMON PLAYS EX-CON IN “LEARNING UNCLE VINCENT”

L.U.V. (an acronym that stands for Learning Uncle Vincent), is a feature film that centers on a day in the life of William “Woody” Watson (played by newcomer Michael Rainey Jr), a shy and timid 13-year old in search of a family and a better life, who looks to his Uncle Vincent, an ex-con, played by Common, hoping to find the father figure he’s never had, and has always wanted.

The film, directed by Sheldon Candis (a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts), takes place over the course of 1 single day.

Joining Common (who is also acting as one of the producers on the project) is an all-star cast of mostly seasoned actors in Dennis HaysbertDanny Glover , Charles S. DuttonLonette McKee, Megan GoodMichael K. WilliamsRussell Hornsby, and Tracey Heggins.

COMMON’S NEW SERIES HELL ON WHEELS RANKED AS SECOND – HIGHEST- RATED SERIES PREMIERE!

Common is coming up in a HUGE way with his new series, period Western Hell On Wheels airing on AMC.

Although he did a good bit of research for his role as Elam in AMC’s “Hell on Wheels,” rapper Common said some of it came naturally.

“I did a heavy-duty amount of research into our history and the history of African people once we arrived on the shores of America. But I must say some of it is just innately in my soul. I am really connected to this struggle, beyond even any research,” he told AMC.
