Eminem Sued For $9 Milli Over Chrysler Commercial

Another day, another lawsuit …

Stephen Lee Pieck, of Ossining in Westchester New York, filed a 9 million dollar lawsuit against Eminem on January 12, in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Pieck, who listed his address as “homeless” in the lawsuit, claims that he was in a Legal Seafood restaurant in White Plains New York, on September 9, 2010.

The lawsuit claims he was in the restaurant with Jordon Bratman and Christina Aguilera, when the pop singer called Eminem. The lawsuit claims that Christina Aguilera handed Pieck the phone and that he then gave Eminem the idea for the “Born of Fire” commercial. “I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million,” Pieck’s handwritten lawsuit states. “I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did.”

According to Ken West, an organiser of New Zealand’s “The Big Day Out” festival, Eminem declined to headline the event, and turned down a whopping $6 million!

Eminem and Yelawolf are the chosen ones. The Shady boy duo land the cover of Vibe’s December/January Issue. It is the first joint interview for the white knights of hip hop.

The Eminem and Yelawolf sat down with Vibe’s Erik Parker and discussed the race relations of rap, drugs and everything in between. Check out some excerpts from the cover interview below:

It’s funny that “Throw It Up” is the name of this song because that’s exactly what I wanted to do when I heard Gangsta Boo on the track. Fortunately I am a Yelawolf supporter so when he came in my nausea subsided.

Yelawolf keeps it country on “Throw It Up,” one of thehighlights off his Shady Records debut Radioactive (Nov. 21). The Alabama rapper links up with former Three 6 Mafia member Gangsta Boo (“Not Nicki, I’m worser, I’ll hurt ya”) and his label boss Eminem, who steals the show with his spitfire rhymes. Hip-hop icons meet rock royalty in GQ‘s November issue. Eminem and Lil Wayne share the cover of the men’s magazine with Rolling Stones member Keith Richards.

The men were honored as “gods of rock” in a special package called “The Survivors.” The photo portfolio pays tribute to the greatest living music mastersand was shot by famed photographer Mark Seliger.

This commercial and the choir was one of my favorites this year!

It looks like this man just can not lose. Eminem’s Chrysler 200 commercial which aired during the this year’s NFL Super Bowl has been awarded with an Emmy by The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, it was announced today.

The commercial created by Portland and New York based ad agency Wieden + Kennedy, was competing against spots from Conan O’Brien for American Express and the Nissan Leaf polar bear.

Also the choir featured in the Chrysler 200 commercial released on official music video about month ago….check it out!!

Chrysler launched an ad campaign during the Super Bowl featuring Eminem driving through the city of Detroit in order to establish some much needed publicity and faith in the American automotive industry. Now, Chrysler has released a video of an amazing gospel choir covering Lose Yourself.

Eminem gave fans an extra special treat during his slot at Britain’s v festival on Saturday night when Rihanna joined him for a surprise duet!

Eminem was headlining at the festival in Weston Park, Staffordshire when Rihanna, who played her own set earlier that day, stepped on to the main stage wearing a black leather dress and sang the hook to their 2010 hit, ‘Love The Way You Lie.’

Earlier in his set, Em did a medley of The Real Slim Shady, Without Me and My Name Is, as well as songs The Way I am, Stan and Cleaning Out My Closet.
