According to my sources the film release date has been moved up to November just in time for awards season! I’m thinking Rashad might will receive many accolades for this role, she’s already won her Tony!

While no one from her team has given an exact reason, our sources speculates that it could be because she is preggers!! [Also, it seems that those two divas would never get along on a set! LOL!]
Plus with Janet Jackson also in the cast, maybe there’d be just too many ‘hags’ one the set at once! LOL! Between Janet, Mariah and all them other bishes, I’m sure the set will be ‘hag’ overload!! LOL!! Just like Miss Tyler likes it!!
According to PEOPLE, Carey withdrew from the ensemble cast that includes Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Omari Hardwick, Macy Gray, Phylicia Rashad, Kimberly Elise, and more Tuesday, May 25. ”I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” Carey’s spokeswoman Cindi Berger said Wednesday, declining to give a reason for Carey’s withdrawal.
