Ice Cube knows … you can’t have a “Friday” movie without John Witherspoon to punish the bathrooms.
TMZ has learned … Cube has already reached out to the actor to reprise his role as his burrito-eating, dog-catching father, Willie Jones, in the next ”Friday” movie.
We spoke to Witherspoon … who tells us, “I said, ‘HELL YEAHHHH! I am ready to do this!”
(Singing) I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it!!!
OMG, I just found out the best news from our friends at the Smoking Section. It seems as though Ice Cube will be working on a new installment of his Friday movie series! But that’s not why I’m excited. I’m excited because word on the street is … SMOKEY IS COMING BACK!!!!
You knew it was going to happen eventually! Rebecca Black ‘singer’ of the youtube viral hit ‘Friday’ has now sparked a movement. Teala Dunn from the TBS show ‘Are We There Yet’? has created her own version of the song, which takes place on Sunday.

This was cute, maybe too cute to be a parody. Next time shoot the video on the swingset in your grandma’s backyard after Sunday dinner, half asleep cause you got the ‘itis’ from Aunt May’s collard greens, then I’ll be impressed!

When it was announced that Ice Cube joined the cast of the 80′s cult television series ’21 Jump Street” we were all perplexed! But no one really minded that Cube is playing the precinct captain role that Steve Williams made famous.
We all knew the most importnat role was Holly Robinson Peete and Johnny Depp’s characters. As long as they cast a hot sista then we’d be alright? Right? Wrong!

Bow Wow was getting his promo on for his film “Lottery Ticket” yesterday!
His acting career is definitely bringing in more income than his music career. He’s recently been cast in Tyler Perry’s next film, so I assume he’ll be staying at the “Complex” for the rest of the summer. Good for him! I say he just focus on TV and Film for now! He can “Will Smith” it, if he drops that fake thug persona! [Free advice Bow Wow!]
Anyway, Mr. Wow spent a day at Foot Locker in New York’s Herald Square [I'm assuming the character in the film works at a Foot Locker] to promote the film. I plan on catching the movie myself, only because I’ll watch anything Brandon T. Jackson is in! : )
Now that Bow Wow is legal, the budding film star has been added to the cast of Ma Dukes Mr. Tyler Perry’s latest Madea film [these movies just keep going like the Energizer bunny!].
Bow Wow made an announcement via Twitter that he will be joining Tyler Perry on his next feature film, “Madea’s Big Happy Family.” AOL Black Voices reported that Bow Wow and Loretta Devine will team up again and that they will play mother and son. Also, joining the cast is Lauren London. Tyler Perry is directing, writing, and producing “Madea’s Big Happy Family.” This is a 34th Street Films and The Tyler Perry Company production, and Lionsgate will distribute and is currently set for an April 22, 2011 theatrical release.
