LADY GAGA HAS AN UNWAVERING CREATIVE SPIRIT

If you indulged yourself in Lady Gaga’s A Very Gaga Thanksgiving special last week, then you know the January issue of Vanity Fair will contain a nude sketch of the “Marry The Night” singer done up by her “The Lady Is A Tramp” duet partner Tony Bennett.

Naturally, the feature also contains some typically colorful quotes from Mother Monster — not the least of which is this one, about marriage proposals she’s received after dumping a few exes: “How fuckin’ romantic, you asshole. Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a fuckin’ ring.” Mother Monster stated.

The Lady Gaga / Laurieann Gibson debacle continues! In a break-up, which we FIRST reported here, that ricocheted throughout the blogosphere, dance world and beyond – Laurieann finally speaks out! 

 

In an exclusive statement to THR, Gibson acknowledges that, “Recently, Lady Gaga was motivated to take the helm of the creative direction of her career.” But despite being fired, Gibson claims she “decided to step away.”  Our inside source says Laurieann was definitely fired and is planning to file a lawsuit!

Lady Gaga has replaced her choreographer and host of BET’s Born To Dance, Laurieann Gibson. Sunday morning, Gaga announced on Twitter that she was working with a new choreographer, Richard Jackson, who was Gibson’s assistant. That’s some ‘All About Eve’ shit right there!!

But Gibson isn’t taking this lying down – - she’s planning to sue!

LUPE FIASCO & LUDACRIS TO PERFORM ON GRAMMY NOMINATIONS CONCERT LIVE!

Lupe Fiasco and Ludacris are kicking off Grammy season with a bang. The rappers have been added to the lineup for “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night.”

Nominations for the 54th annual show will be revealed live during the special, which will also feature performances from Lady Gaga, Sugarland, and Jason Aldean. LL Cool J will return as host.

The one-hour event will be broadcast from the Nokia TheatreL.A. LIVE on November 30 at 10 p.m. on CBS. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

Ludacris is readying the release of his mixtape 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time for November 15, while Lupe’s mixtape Friend of the People will drop on Thanksgiving.

LADY GAGA LAUNCHES “BORN THIS WAY” FOUNDATION!

Mother Monster is doing something rather, well, motherly.

Lady Gaga announced today that she is launching the Born This Way Foundation, a non-profit organization that will focus on youth empowerment by addressing such issues as self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development.


The “Yoü and I” singer is partnering up with several groups for this new endeavor including the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment as well as the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, according to a press release.
