TBS THE NEW BET?? WAYANS BROTHERS TO DEVELOP SITCOM ‘THE BLACKS”

Now that we saw what the world of television looks like when Tyler Perry is the queen of the scene, I think we all can appreciate anything other than “House of Payne” and “Meet the Browns” LOL!!!

But one can’t help but give TBS the side-eye when it comes to their current development slate – -because we all know this is the same formula FOX, WB, NBC, UPN, and the CW used to get their viewership up — and then dropped NIGGAZ like a hot potato…

Wayans Brothers, Shawn, Keenen Ivory and Marlon are currently in development with TBS for an animated television series, “The Black Family.” Ali Leroi (“Everybody Hates Chris”) is on board to executive produce the series which is centered on a blended interracial family, The Blacks.

Todd Gold man and Rick Alvarez will produce with the brothers.
