On the two-hour episode, which airs Sunday at 7 p.m. on ABC, the pop star surprises volunteers from Steps & Stages disabled women veterans agency backstage at her “LOUD” concert. First Lady Michelle Obama also lends a hand to help build a home for a woman and her son who provide housing and support to homeless female veterans.

Forbes is well known for their creation of lists culminating the top of the top. One of their most recent lists, however, is ordering black women in order of their power, influence and wealth. Needless to say, Michelle Obama, Beyonce & Oprah are among those at the top of the list!

While Obama’s ratings have skyrocketed after the hunting down and killing of the most wanted man in our world…the percentage of African American men with jobs have dropped!
If the election of America’s first African-American president was expected to give blacks an economic boost, it hasn’t emerged yet. Indeed, the percentage of African-American men with a job has dropped to its lowest level since records began in 1972, according to the government’s monthly jobs report released last week.
Not good!

After getting Boo’d at the Met Costume Gala, Queen Bey made a stop at a middle school for a little damage control to share the spotlight with some middle school kids.
The school visit was part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move Campaign which was developed to fight childhood obesity. Star students of P.S. 161 Pedro Albizu Campos were selected to participate in a school assembly to promote the initiatve The kids did a Zumba warm-up and practiced the Let’s Move choreography several times before Beyonce joined in to burn some calories with them.
