Rumor has it that sexy British actor Idris Elba will star in the film adaptation of James Patterson’s psychological thriller “Cross” a role originated by veteran actor Morgan Freeman in “Kiss the Girls” (1999) and “Along Came a Spider” (2001).
In this installment, Cross tracks ‘The Butcher’ a serial rapist/murderer who my have been involved in the murder of his pregnant wife years prior.
“Cross” will be directed by David Twohy with Lloyd Levin, Leopoldo Goutm, and Steve Bowen as producers. According to IMDBpro.com production is slated to begin in 2011 and will be privately funded.
