Hours after I briefly chatted with Jets wideout Braylon Edwards, the 6’4″ star was arrested for DUI in Manhattan!
Police say Edwards, 27, was pulled over in the early morning hours Tuesday because his Range Rover was seen driving erratically with tinted windows blocks away from teammate Jerricho Cotchery’s Foundation Event which we both were attending.
Police gave Braylon a Breathalyzer test which registered .16—the legal limit is 08.
Smh. Braylon was just coming off a great game versus the Patriots in which he was mad hyped but seemed particularly sanguine last night. Looks like dude had too much sangria at the bar!
The war of words between Baltimore Ravens LB Ray Lewis and NY Jets coach Rex Ryan makes Monday Night’s Jets/Ravens match-up a must-see! Ryan has been talking Super Bowl swagger with the Jets and Lewis believes (rightly so) that such talk should be reserved for the champion Saints…
