Paula Abdul Fired From X Factor?!
(via Deadline) The X Factor will be making some changes to the show next season and I’m not talking about the set. Not only are host Steve Jones and judge Nicole Scherzinger exiting from the Fox show, but now a Simon Cowell insider revealed to Deadline that his longtime friend and American Idol colleague Paula Abdul won’t be returning as an X Factor judge next season. WTF!
I understand from sources that none of the three left on their own accord and that it was cleaning house day at the so-so rated reality series. I wonder if there will be any backlash against Simon because of Paula’s popularity?

The 33-year-old singer’s song comes off of her album Killer Love, which is being rereleased on November 14. The album will feature three totally new songs: “Try With Me,” “Trust Me I Lie,” and “Tomorrow Never Dies.” In the video, Nicole is surrounded by a tropical oasis, playing her piano in a pool of water – the video was shot in the Xilitla rainforest in Mexico.

Who invited HER? Nicole Scherzinger served as stage filler during this past weekend’s iHeartRadio Music Festival.
The “X Factor” judge hit Vegas to perform material from her flop solo debut Killer Love including “Right There,” “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” and “Club Banger Nation.” Yeah, I never heard of those songs either. She also dueted with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler “(It) Feels So Good,” while American Idol’s Randy Jackson played bass.

We’d never have guessed it from all the ‘kinis and dominatrix fits, but Nicole Scherzinger wasn’t always comfortable flossin’ that bangin’ bawwwwdy. The former “Pussycat Dolls” singer is featured in the new issue of Marie Claire (hits newsstands Tuesday August 16), talking about how she used to sleep in a Paula Abdul nightshirt, getting damn near naked for The Pussycat Dolls and being a nerd.
