Ms. Evan’s gives the track some livelihood as she lays the chorus down effortlessly, while Ross adds a verse that perfectly blends with Tyrese’s vocals over the 90′s R&B feel on the beat. Sometimes I wish it was 1996 and all I knew about Tyrese was that he sang and Maia Campbell in his videos…In an interview with my friend Nicole Bitchie, Tyrese breaks down the ‘Independent Woman’ in the eyes of a man…(side-eye already).

stopped by Wendy Williams with her onscreen boothang Tyrese to promote her new show CBS’s ‘Person of Interest’ as well as their upcoming gig with John Singleton. Tyrese, who performed later in the show, is promoting his new album ‘Open Invitation’ which is out in stores now.
During her 10 minute sit down with Wendy, Taraji addressed a number of topics from who she has been linked to (she dished on Drake, Terrence Howard and Common) and why she chooses to keep her personal life private.

This Tyrese vs. The Radio Station war is getting heated. In case you missed it, Tyrese was booted from a Delaware radio station (101.7) yesterday, after going on a rant about a liquor store he noticed that was located right across from an elementary school!!! According to Tyrese, he was just voicing his concern, but the station manager has a different story to tell!!

Baby Boy’s been hittin’ major forks in the road on his path to be the second coming of ‘Will Smith’. His latest mouth bleed comes in the form of his musical comeback and casting for his latest single, ‘I Gotta Chic’.
Last week, Tyrese posted a behind-the-scenes video clip for his first single in many years, “I Gotta Chick”, from his upcoming “Open Invitation,” due out in November. “I think a lot of people are going to be shocked with this video, this is my comeback,” he said. “I’m back, homie. We’re going to bring class, tact and good energy back to these videos. ”
His Black female fans were “shocked,” but surely not in the way Ty-Ty anticipated.
