Vanity Fair Releases ‘Hollywood Issue’ Which Features ‘Pariah’ Star Adepero Oduye!

The first-ever Hollywood cover shoot from Vanity Fair contributing photographer Mario Testino, features a bevy of Hollywood’s finest and two new Oscar nominees’s lounging across a three-panel foldout.

The Art Deco set was designed to evoke the all-white, no pun intended, Jazz Age interiors of English decorator Syrie Maugham, whose clients included Bunny Mellon, Elsa Schiaparelli, and the Duchess of Windsor; V.F.’s fashion and style director, Jessica Diehl, put the 11 cover starlets in pastel satin dresses and frothy feathers to lend a 20s and 30s boudoir feel.

Across the panels are actresses Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling.

If you indulged yourself in Lady Gaga’s A Very Gaga Thanksgiving special last week, then you know the January issue of Vanity Fair will contain a nude sketch of the “Marry The Night” singer done up by her “The Lady Is A Tramp” duet partner Tony Bennett.

Naturally, the feature also contains some typically colorful quotes from Mother Monster — not the least of which is this one, about marriage proposals she’s received after dumping a few exes: “How fuckin’ romantic, you asshole. Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a fuckin’ ring.” Mother Monster stated.

Well, I guess Elle learned their lesson from Vanity Fair’s “all-white” issue and put Precious on the cover of their magazine ..

According to FOX NEWS, the October issue of Elle magazine is the 25th Anniversary issue and to celebrate the milestone, they are profiling 25 women under 25 on four different covers. The magazine selected the top four stars under 25 (even though one is actually already 25 and another is 27, but who’s counting, except for us and maybe everyone else): Gabourey Sidibe, 27, Amanda Seyfried, 25, Megan Fox, 24, and Lauren Conrad, 24.

FEARLESS MAG ATTEMPTS TO COUNTERACT ‘WHITE’ VANITY FAIR” ISSUE! BUT STILL LEFT OUT GABOUREY!

Many bloggers and African-Americans were mad as hell because “Vanity Fair” didn’t put Oscar nominated Gabourey Sidibe on their “Class of 2010″ cover. Well…she didn’t make the cut on new magazine “Fearless” either! Where’s the outrage??!!

Try to name everyone on the “Fearless” cover without reading the text? Go!

I could only name four! Then again, who knew who half these bishes on Vanity Fair were??? LOL!

But for real, big ups to FEARLESS for trying to balance out the pale movement in Hollywood. I would’ve added some of my personal favorites like KeKe Palmer, Zoe Kravtiz, Rutina Wesley, Kiesha Knight Pulliam, Eva Marcille, Meagan Good, and Journey Smolett… and couple of blatinas!!
